The campaign manager for Donald Trump accused Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine of sexism for interrupting the female moderator of Tuesday night's debate.

"How many times has @TimKaine ignored and interrupted the female moderator tonight?" asked Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager.

She capped off her tweet: "#sexist."

Kaine interrupted debate moderator Elaine Quijano, a CBS News anchor, countless times as he faced off with his Republican opponent, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Kaine's interruptions were not only noticed by Republicans.

David Axelrod, a former senior adviser to President Barack Obama, made note of it on Twitter:

A representative for the Clinton campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Tuesday night's political duel in Virginia was the only scheduled vice presidential debate of 2016.
