  • Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Friday night that he is no longer seeking to take the company private, ending weeks of speculation over the proposal Musk first announced on Twitter.
  • Musk said that, after discussions with existing shareholders and financial advisors, he learned there was little appetite for such a move.
