If you have been using Facebook for quite some time, you might have a folder full of unread messages. There is a ‘Message Requests’ tab which was earlier called as ‘other’ folder. It is to this folder that Facebook sends all the messages that you will receive from contacts you do not know. For reviewing these messages, click on the ‘messages’ icon you will find on top of your home screen. Beside the ‘Recent’ tab of your inbox, the ‘Message Request’ tab will be seen. Click on this and then click on ‘see filtered requests’. You will see all the messages you received from all kinds of contacts.

Facebook has enough security options. If someone has accessed your account without your permission, you can know it. Go to settings page and you will find the link ‘Where You’re Logged’ in link under the Security’ folder. All your active Facebook logins from desktops or mobiles will be seen from here. You will get details like browser, location and device used for logging in.

One of the biggest hidden feature of Facebook is the ability to transfer large files. Open a Facebook Messenger window and you will find a paper clip icon in the bottom of the window. This tool helps you upload a file directly from your computer and transfer it to a contact. The receiver needs to just click on the link sent and download the file from there.

At times you might want to share something that is larger than few sentences or an image, you can make use of a Facebook ‘Note’. Save for later
