Heads up! Minutes away from the release of jobless claims figures for the week ended September 14, due out at 8:30 AM ET.
Economists expect claims to rise to 330,000 from the 292,000 reported the week before, an artificially depressed figure due to computer system upgrades in some states (the week before that, claims were 323,000). Continuing claims for the week ended September 7 are expected to edge up to 2.900 million from 2.871 million the week before.
