Here comes Markit manufacturing PMI...

Markit's manufacturing purchasing managers index is expected to come in at 53.2 for October when it crosses at 9:45 a.m. ET.

The measure of American manufacturing strength has been weak for some time, coming in at 51.5 last month.

Additionally, we will get a reading for the Institute for Supply Management with their PMI at 10 a.m. ET.

Last month the ISM reading stood at 51.5 The ISM reading has been flirting with contractionary territory - which is any reading below 50 - for some time.
