Here's how much the high-end iPhone X costs and when you can buy it

Apple announced the iPhone X at its iPhone event in Cupertino, California on Tuesday.

You can pre-order the iPhone X, Apple's highest-end iPhone, on October 23 from Apple's website. It will hit retail stores on November 3.

The iPhone X, pronounced "iPhone ten," starts at $999.

Apple also released two other iPhones that are less expensive, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. You can order those devices on September 22.
