It’s official! Your Google search will also show recent tweets. Know more Google and Twitter have renewed a bond than ended in 2011 due to Twitter’s expansion plans. It’s not the first time tweets would show up in Google searches. The new deal with just allow deeper integration.

Currently, a Google search will show most relevant tweets in the search results. A click on the desired one will take you straight to Twitter where you can access more content.

The partnership will let Google get more search queries and boost Twitter’s declining traffic, which has also affected its stock prices. Google now has full access to the tweet stream called firehose which shoots around 9,000 tweets per second. That’s a lot of information, and Google wants just that. Earlier, Google crawled Twitter to pull out relevant tweets. That didn’t work well due to the bulk of traffic on Twitter.

The new feature would start with search results within the app and mobile Web edition, closely followed by the desktop version. It will start with the US, and extend to more countries in the coming months.

There won’t be any sponsored tweets as of now. This means you won’t see advertisements from Twitter appearing in Google searches. However, Twitter has started to rolled out its flagship ad earlier this year on other sites like Flipboard.

Bing search engine has a similar capacity of integrating Twitter messages.
