It's Time For Marissa Mayer To Report Yahoo Earnings

Here's what will be on people's minds during the next seven days in tech:

Earnings season has arrived! So, we're going to get a look at how the biggest names in tech are faring.

  • First up is Yahoo, which reports on Tuesday, July 15 after the market closes. Yahoo is expected to report another dip in revenue on a year-over-year basis. Investors have been patient with Marissa Mayer so far, but with Alibaba about to IPO, we expect they'll start asking harder questions about Yahoo.
  • Intel reports earnings on Tuesday, July 15. PC sales have improved lately. We'll hear Intel's take on that trend.
  • eBay reports on Wednesday, July 16. Jon Fortt at CNBC thinks eBay's expectations are perhaps too high, and the company is going to have a hard time beating expectations.
  • Google reports on Thursday, July 17. Analysts are looking for $15.6 billion in revenue, and $6.24 in EPS.
  • IBM reports on Thursday July 17. IBM's stock has tanked since April. We'll see if there's anything to restore investor faith.
