Supermodel Karlie Kloss said she tried to tell that her brother- and sister-in-law, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, that those who refuse to accept the results of the 2020 election "anti-American."

Kloss condemned the pro-Trump siege that took place at the Capitol in a Wednesday tweet, as Congress debated on whether to certify the 2020 election results.

The insurrection came after President Donald Trump spoke to supporters at a "Save America" rally, encouraging them to object to the election results and "fight" for him.

"And we fight. We fight like Hell and if you don't fight like Hell, you're not going to have a country anymore," Trump said during the rally, adding that "we're going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, I love Pennsylvania Avenue, and we're going to the Capitol and we're going to try and give," but did not finish the thought.

After the mob breached the Capitol, Trump urged them to "stay peaceful!"

Ivanka Trump also wrote in a now-deleted tweet: "American Patriots - any security breach or disrespect to our law enforcement is unacceptable. The violence must stop immediately. Please be peaceful."

When asked to clarify if she thought the rioters were "patriots," Ivanka Trump denied it.

"Peaceful protest is patriotic," she wrote. "Violence is unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest terms."

In a tweet Wednesday night, Kloss wrote that "accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic."

"Refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American," she continued.

One Twitter user replied to Kloss' tweet, urging her to "tell your sister in law and brother law," to which Kloss responded with, "I tried."

The supermodel is married to Joshua Kushner, the brother of Trump's son-in-law and White House senior advisor Jared Kushner and brother-in-law of Ivanka Trump.
