Lok Sabha Elections 2019 candidate list for Mizoram

First time ever in case of Lok Sabha Elections in the State, a woman is contesting as an independent candidate in Mizoram. A Jewish woman by origin, Lalthlamuani fights in the election as an independent candidate. The single constituency in the state is reserved for candidates representing the Scheduled Tribes (ST). At present, CL Ruala, an eighty-three year old person is the MP elected from the state for the Congress Party. Mizo National Front names the retired director general of Doordarshar C Lalrosanga and the Congress-Zoram People’s Movement selects journalist L Hmar as its candidate.
