Trump targeted General Motors in March in a series of tweets that blasted the automaker for closing a plant in Lordstown, Ohio.
He urged the company to reopen its plant and said it "must act quickly." He also said GM "let our country down."
Trump also threatened to cut subsidies to GM after the company announced plans to stop production at factories in Michigan, Maryland, and Ohio.
Because the economy is so good, General Motors must get their Lordstown, Ohio, plant open, maybe in a different form or with a new owner, FAST! Toyota is investing 13.5 $Billion in U.S., others likewise. G.M. MUST ACT QUICKLY. Time is of the essence!

Just spoke to Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors about the Lordstown Ohio plant. I am not happy that it is closed when everything else in our Country is BOOMING. I asked her to sell it or do something quickly. She blamed the UAW Union β I donβt care, I just want it open!

Very disappointed with General Motors and their CEO, Mary Barra, for closing plants in Ohio, Michigan and Maryland. Nothing being closed in Mexico & China. The U.S. saved General Motors, and this is the THANKS we get! We are now looking at cutting all @GM subsidies, including....
