New Printable Robots To Automatically Assemble When Heated

According to a study, new algorithms and electronic components could enable printable robots that self-assemble when heated.

The researchers promised of printable robotic components that automatically fold into prescribed three-dimensional configurations on heating.

These robots have been extensively researched in the lab of Daniela Rus, Andrew and Erna Viterbi, professor of electrical engineering and computer science.
