New Rs 10 Bank Notes To Carry Indian RBI Governor, Raghuram Rajan’s Signature

It has been couple of months since Dr. Raghuram Rajan has held the governors office at the Reserve Bank Of India . It is about time that some new Indian currency notes start to roll out with the new governor ’s signatures. RBI has announced in a release yesterday, which states that very shortly fresh Rs 10 bank notes will be issued to the public that will carry the governor’s signature.
The signature will be at the back of the bank note. The release by RBI said “The design of these notes to be issued now is similar in all respects to the Rs 10 Banknotes inMahatma Gandhi Series - 2005 issued earlier.”
