The new Apple iPhones are set to launch in India today with a bang. The special event will be taking place at Select City Walk mall in Delhi. The occasion is open ended and anybody can attend. Amidst the action, RCom has gone ahead and announced that they will be selling the new iPhone at an attractive price of Rs 2,999 for 5S and Rs 2,599 for 5C (16 GB models). This will be a monthly plan scheme for the customers who would be required to sign a 2 year contract with RCom.

This contractual model has been used in the past in India and did not do well here. Reliance Communication is again looking to ignite the popular sales scheme from the west and try to woo the customer with it. If one wants to buy these marvels without the contract ties, they can do so for a minimum price of Rs 53,500 for iPhone 5S and Rs 41,900 for iPhone 5C (16 GB). The accessories of these phones are also slated to come today.

Under the 2 year contract, the customers will get unlimited voice calls, SMS and 3G data, now that is tempting. The offer is only available to people who already have an ICICI or HDFC bank credit cards.
