Reliance Jio to launch on 5th September

Finally it has been announced, the awaited launch date for Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio services. At the RIL annual general Meeting, Mukesh Ambani brought Jio right upfront and made sure that the announcement will have customers queuing at Jio stores. From free voice to extremely low data prices, Jio has managed to put together a plan that will be difficult for customers to pass on. While Jio has announced the launch date but customers can continue to enjoy free services even after the commercial launch till end of December 2016. Although other operators including Airtel has touch on free voice calls and lower data tariff but Jio has gone the whole hog and made voice completely free including when on roaming and data charges at Rs. 50 for 1GB with no up-front payment, Jio claims that is the most affordable tariff in the world (Sounds about right)

Apart from tariff, Jio has made big announcement on the device front as well where it bringing 4G VoLTE devices for as low as Rs. 2999 in addition to other available LYF devices. Jio has also partnered with many smartphone makers including Sumsung, LG, and Panasonic where customers can avail free Jio’s services.

Mukesh Ambani has set target for Reliance Jio to achieve the fastest 100million customer mark in the world.
