Calling all hypebeasts: You can now bid on Fyre Festival merchandise seized from Billy McFarland
  • Fyre Festival merchandise originally intended to be sold at the fraudulent festival went up for auction Thursday.
  • The goods were seized from Billy McFarland, architect of the festival, who is now in jail after being found guilty of fraud that culminated in $26 million in losses.
  • Highlights of the collection include sweatshirts with $100 price tags and a souvenir token branded with the phrase, "a conspiracy to change the entertainment world."

Hype beasts with a keen sense of irony, look no further. Today's hottest drop: confiscated Fyre Festival merch.

From July 30 through August 13, you can bid on leisure-wear and tchotchkes meant to be sold at the greatest festival that never was. Highlights of the collection include sweatshirts with $100 price tags and a souvenir token branded with the phrase, "a conspiracy to change the entertainment world."

Billy McFarland, the architect of Fyre Festival, had originally planned to sell the goods at Fyre Festival. Even after the event imploded and McFarland was arrested and charged with fraud, McFarland intended to sell the items while on pre-trial release, according to U.S. Marshal Ralph Sozio.

"The proceeds from the sale of these items, all traceable to McFarland's $26 million fraud, will go toward the victims of his crimes," said Sozio in a press release.
