Uber Eats revealed Thursday its 2022 Cravings Reports, which highlights order and eating trends, as well as quirky requests made to restaurants.

When Klondike said it would stop making the Choco Taco, Uber Eats said everyone suddenly "wanted to get their hands on one before they were gone forever. We saw a large spike in convenience store orders for the ice cream novelty this year."

Uber Eats said 2022 was the year of "ranch fatigue" as consumer desire for ranch dressing dramatically dwindled. Pre-pandemic requests for ranch or extra ranch always topped the trending charts. These requests now don't even crack the top 20, Uber Eats said.

One of the most popular grocery delivery items purchased on Wednesdays: celery juice.

But, on Fridays, healthy grocery order choices turn carby with a spike in cannoli orders.

Uber's alcohol delivery operator, Drizly, said the big drink craze was Negroni Sbagliato with Prosecco. Demand for the cocktail's ingredients – Campari, vermouth, and Prosecco – spiked in October after the drink was mentioned in a viral TikTok video.

Uber Eats noted this uber-specific delivery request from a butter fanatic: "Hi there. This is going to sound insane, but would you be so kind and put a disturbing amount of butter on my grilled cheese? Like, you're going to need the Red Cross Emergency Rapid Response team on site and provide me with astronaut diapers — just in case."

French fries and hash browns were among the most popular dishes ordered on Uber Eats this Thanksgiving.

Another wacky restaurant request: "Hi it's me again, your favorite customer who's super sad when she doesn't have a side of gravy. I will pay $100 for a side of gravy since I love it so much lol. Please help a sister out!"

The most frequently paired food with alcohol was a steak with a margarita. In third place: burritos with margaritas. Go figure!

On Saturdays, customers ask to "hold the sour cream" on their restaurant delivery orders.

Uber Eats called 2022 "The No Booze Boom." Uber Eats orders for non-alcoholic beers, wines, and spirits spiked 300% over the past year.
