The solar eclipse and all its phases seen over Pune skiesBCCL
The solar eclipse on June 21 darkened the skies on the day when the Sun is supposed to take over the sky — the summer solstice.
This is also the first time in since 2011 that the annular solar eclipse has been visible over India.
Breathtaking pictures from all over the country show how the eclipse looked in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and other parts of India.
On the day that’s supposed to shine the brightest, the solar eclipse only left a ‘Ring of Fire’ in the sky.
Annular solar eclipses only occur once every one or two years. However, the solar eclipse or surya grahan on June 21 was the first ‘Ring of Fire’ annular solar eclipse that was visible from India for the first time since 2011.
