- The virtual launch party will see 18 teams, led by PUBG Mobile veterans like Dynamo, GodNixon and others.
- A total prize pool of ₹6 lakh is up for grabs on the two days.
- Krafton has also extended the deadline of transferring data from PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India to July 9.

The popular battle royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India is celebrating its launch with a virtual party on July 8 and July 9. 18 teams will be fighting each other over the course of two days, with the total prize pool fixed at ₹6 lakh.The Battlegrounds Mobile India launch party will include several PUBG Mobile streamers like Dynamo, Mortal, GodNixon and K18, in addition to Ghatak, Shreeman Legend among others.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is an India-specific version of PUBG Mobile, which was banned in India along with dozens of other Chinese apps and games. This comes after Krafton, the South Korean video game developer, rolled out early access back in June, allowing enthusiasts to test the game.

PUBG Mobile data transfer dates extended
Krafton has extended the dates for transferring data from PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India to July 9, from the July 6 deadline set initially.
Users who have still not transferred their data from PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India can do so by following these steps:

- Login to Battlegrounds Mobile India using your Facebook, Twitter or Google account.
- Customise your in-game character.
- Now, you will be asked if you reside in India. Tap yes.
- The Account Data Transfer message will now popup on your screen. If you want to transfer your PUBG Mobile data to BGMI, tap yes.
- Now login using the same account which you used for PUBG Mobile.
- Once done, tap on yes to initiate the data transfer to BGMI.
