The Indian government banned 118 Chinese apps, including PUBG and Arena of Valor on September 2, after border tensions between China and India escalated. This isn’t the first time the Indian government has done something like this. Previously, on June 29, the IT Ministry banned 59 Chinese apps, including TikTok, and Shein citing security concerns.

Tencent’s Arena of Valor was released in Google Play Store India in March 2018, and became an instant hit with thousands of players downloading and playing the game.
