The Miami Heat Storm Back To Beat The Celtics In A Thriller, Extend Winning Streak To 23 Games
AP
It was an awesome game.
The Heat were down 17 in the first half. Jeff Green was fantastic, scoring 43 points on 21 shots in the best game of his life.
Without Kevin Garnett, Boston shot 55% and withstood a number of furious Heat runs throughout the game.
The decisive play came with 12seconds left and the game tied 103-103.
It was perfect defensive by Green, but better offense from the best player in the world.
Miami forced Paul Pierce into a low-percentage three-pointer on the next possession, and won 105-103.
It's the second-longest winning streak in
It REALLY seemed like the streak was going to end tonight. But LeBron was simply too good (37 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds).
Now, Miami gets a long stretch against bad teams before playing the Bulls next week and — looking further down the road — the Spurs on March 31st.
The NBA record is 33-straight wins, so they still have a long way to go.
