We first heard about Ad Trap on CNN. The project raised more than $200,000 on crowd funding site Kickstarter. You can buy one for $139.
Ad Trap plugs into your wireless router and intercepts all ads before they can reach any device connected to your WiFi network, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets. According to CNN, Ad Trap can even block pre-roll ads on YouTube.
