We visited the chunk of preserved fatberg on display in London - and it's about as gross as you would expect
Back in September large chunks of the internet were captivated by the story of a 130-tonne "fatberg" which was discovered in the sewers of east London.
The slimy lump of coagulated fat, oil, wet wipes, diapers, and so forth took several weeks to dismantle via a combination of pickaxes, high-pressure hoses and large suctions tubes.
A few fragments of the coagulated 'berg survived, however, and have been put on display in the Museum of London in all their grossness.
Business Insider took a trip to the exhibition - here's what we found.
