Will Nokia Reveal Its First Android Phone Today at MWC?

Rumours have spread like wildfire that the Finnish mobile manufacturer Nokia, now owned by Microsoft, will launch an Android smartphone. But these rumours no longer seem just like an anecdote. Nokia could really pull a rabbit out of its hat and reveal its first Android Smartphone. Reports suggest that its will be a budget Android mobile under Rs 10,000 and will not run Android KitKat, but a previous version of the OS.

The screen will be small somewhat like the Nokia Asha 501 and will cater to basic needs of the user. It will not be an Android powerhouse, but something that will be a stepping stone for Nokia to test the Android waters. After the phone the rumours are quite strong for an Android tablet as well. However, we would not see an Android tablet coming from their camp anytime soon.
