India's 3-1 Test series loss to England on Sunday was their fifth consecutive away defeat from home under MS Dhoni . India lost 8-0 in 2011 in England and Australia , and now over the past ninth months the team has lost consecutive series in South Africa , New Zealand and in England again.
Since the 2011 World Cup, India have one just two of 20 Test matches away from home. India's third and fourth worst Test defeats ever have come in this period too: by an innings and 244 runs at The Oval and an innings and 242 runs at Edgbaston during the 4-0 whitewash in 2011.
