Here Come Housing Starts...

The October report on housing starts and building permits from the Census is set for release at the bottom of the hour.

Expectations are for the report to show the pace of starts accelerated slightly in October, to an annualized pace of 1.025 million up from 1.017 million in September.

Month-on-month, the rate is expected to jump 0.8%.

Building permits are expected to rise at a 0.9% month-on-month in October, up to an annualized pace of 1.04 million, up from 1.02 million a year ago.
