Seahawks player interrupts Kam Chancellor interview and yells at the team to pay him
Via ESPN
Kam Chancellor came up with what may have been the game-saving play for the Seahawks, when he punched the ball out of Calvin Johnson's hands, forcing a fumble.
The play then led to the controversial "illegal bat," which the referees missed, and gave the ball to the Seahawks.
Nonetheless, in Chancellor's second game of the season after returning from a holdout, he's making his presence known on the field, and reminding everyone why he's so important to the team.
In a postgame interview, as Chancellor was speaking, defensive lineman Michael Bennett interrupted the interview, and shouted "Pay him! Pay him!"
He added, "[Seahawks owner] Paul Allen is the 17th richest man in the world! Pay him!" before walking away.
Chancellor ultimately lost his holdout, as the Seahawks refused to give him any more money after giving him a four-year, $28 million extension in 2013.
While the Seahawks are rolling and Chancellor's playing well, it's clear this is still an issue within the locker room, and Chancellor will perhaps fight for a raise again after the season.
