Bojangles' has already won over fans across North Carolina and South Carolina. Now, the chain is proving it is ready to take over the rest of the US.

Last Friday, the company reported its 26th consecutive quarter of same-store sales growth. Revenue beat expectations, with an increase of 7.2% to $133.2 million in the third quarter, up from $124.3 million the same quarter last year.

Stocks skyrocketed on Friday, rising more than 12% after the company reported earnings.

Currently, Bojangles' locations are primarily found in the southeastern US. However, the chain making an expansion push, with the company claiming it has the potential to open more than 3,500 locations nationwide, with hundreds of locations in the Northeast as well as in the Midwest, Texas, and California.

As a Bojangles' fan, I recently decided it was time to stop by the location in my hometown of Durham, North Carolina, and revisit how the chain has built its following.
