Your loofah is disgusting - here's the best way to clean it

Loofah isn't as clean as you might think. Without purposeful care, it can be a breeding ground for bacteria. So, properly cleaning the loofah is important before you clean yourself with it. We spoke with professor of microbiology and pathology at NYU's School of Medicine, Philip Tierno Jr. to figure out the best way to clean it.
