A Redditor ordered a Frozen-themed cake, but received something that looked like an alien instead

Redditors are having a good laugh over a cake that was supposed to look like a Disney Princess but instead resembled an alien who fell asleep in a tanning bed.

A Reddit user, OfficialBigHead, posted this photo yesterday.

On the left, the photo shows the cake design that a family ordered for their young daughter's birthday party. The design in modeled after Elsa, the leading lady from Disney's 2013, Frozen. On the right, it shows the terrifying cake they received.

The post is captioned, "The cake that was ordered and the cake that arrived." It has already attracted over two thousand comments.

The instructions for how to make the Elsa cake were designed by a New York based company called McGreevy Cakes. The photograph on the left comes from McGreevy Cakes' website, though the actual cake was baked by an "unnamed baker," according to the Daily Mail.

Whatever the circumstances behind its creation, the cake that arrived seems better suited for an E.T.-themed party than a Disney Princess celebration.
