The HDFC Bank is all set to deploy its first product of ‘Project AI’ (Artificial Intelligence ) - a robot.
A robot will soon greet you at the HDFC Bank and as per reports the bank plans the debut at one of its Mumbai branches, where dealing with senior citizens is less.
The name of the robot has not been finalised yet and if the project is successful, it will be implemented in other branches as well.
For starters, the role of the robot will be minimal, more like a receptionist.
As per reports, the robot will help the customers with options like cash withdrawal, cash deposit, Forex, fixed deposits and demat services displaying on the screen. Once the customer punches in the selection, a layout of the branch will appear on the screen with a "Take me there" option.
The menu will be scaled up over a period of time.
