  • A video that appears to show two Target employees pushing each other in a shopping cart in a parking lot went viral on Twitter over the weekend.
  • The video cuts off right as the cart hits a curb and tips over.
  • The employee who posted the video tweeted on Sunday that she had been fired.

An incident captured in a video that went viral on Twitter over the weekend apparently didn't end well for two Target employees.

In the video, two Target employees are seen pushing each other in a shopping cart in a parking lot. The video cuts off right as the cart hits a curb and tips over, and it appears as if the girl in the cart ate pavement.

The video is simply captioned "Perks of having the same job as your best friend," along with two goofy emojis.

The employee who had originally tweeted the video posted an update on Sunday that said she had been fired from her job.

The employment status of the other worker was not immediately clear.

Target did not respond immediately to Business Insider's request for comment on the viral video, which you can see below. At the time of publishing, it had racked up 4.7 million views.
