Anil Ambani wants to make money like the Sheikhs do, and thus his new plans!

Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group is taking keen interest in India-Qatar economic ties and now wants to enhance business ties in the oil rich country.

Ambani called on Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, senior Qatari ministers and top business leaders and Qatari dignitaries during his visit to the Gulf nation.

Ambani, who was accompanied by a team of senior executives, discussed bilateral trade.

Qatari officials lauded strengths and achievements of various companies of the Reliance Group, adding there was a potential to further expand business collaborations between India and Qatar in mutually identified sectors, and welcomed Reliance Group's keenness to contribute more significantly to this process.

Reliance Group has assets in excess of USD 43 billion, annual revenues of the order of USD 9 billion, net worth of over USD 16 billion and over 1,00,000 employees.
