The alliance between Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, powered by their respective strengths will make the group a strong player in the LCV space, experts told ET.

Gupta, during his association with the alliance, has handled several positions, right from sourcing, V platform project management, global sourcing for the alliance, and finally as the program director at Datsun.

In his new role, he would focus on strengthening the existing stronghold areas of each of the brands in the alliance with a more integrated approach, before coming to the India and China markets.
