At least 9 injured when Boston cab driver loses control of vehicle, crashes into pedestrians

Several people were injured in Boston on Monday when a taxi driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a group of pedestrians, local media are reporting.

The Boston Globe reported at least nine people were injured in the incident, which occurred near a Logan International Airport taxi pool in East Boston. Massachusetts State Police said the injuries were of "varying severity."

The driver is cooperating with investigators, a CBS affiliate reported.
