At Least Four Students Reported Dead After Collapsed Roof Traps Dozens At A South Korea University
At least four South Korean university students are dead after a collapsed roof trapped dozens of freshmen at a welcome ceremony for Busan University of Foreign Studies, South Korean Yonhap News Agency reports.
About 450 students were in the auditorium for the ceremony, and at least 20 have been rescued from the building and transported to local hospitals, according to the AP.
South Korean media is reporting that the collapse was due to an unusually high snowfall in the area, but the AP reports that no official cause has been released yet.
