Avengers Endgame Box Office Collection, earns 53.1 cr on the opening day

The few Avengers left out after the massive destruction by Thanos have all gathered together as a team on the big screen for the final episode. Avengers Endgame is going to be the last movie in the series of the most popular 22 films in series championed by Marvel. The fans are therefore waiting so eagerly to know if Avengers are going to be lucky for the final time.

Internationally, the film has already collected Rs. 2130 crores. Analysts say that Endgame has bagged the highest opening day numbers of the year 2019 till now. The collection of the film has overtaken even that of the Thugs of Hindostan (2018) collection. Released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan dramas have minted a total sum of Rs. 52.25 cores on the first day.

The advance sales of Endgame is said to have exceeded 2.5 million. Like never before, the Avengers are just smashing the box office records globally. Released in India on April 26, 2019, the film has managed to earn Rupees 50 crores plus the opening day collection, says trade analyst Taran Adarsh. In his tweet, Taran Adarsh says, “Avengers: Endgame collected Rs. 53.10 crore. The Anthony and Joe Russo-directed film is now the biggest Hollywood opener to date."

The film was released in more than 2,845 theaters across the country. Some cinemas are in fact running round the clock shows. In one of his tweets, Taran Adarsh writes, "Avengers: Endgame emerges a game changer... Sets new benchmarks on day 1... An eye opener for the industry that feels national holidays or festivals yield best results at the box office. Friday nett box office collection is Rs. 53.10 crore and gross box office collection is Rs. 63.21 crore."

In the meantime, a report by AFP says that upon its release, Avengers: Endgame has succeeded in shattering all the earlier records in Asia and especially in China. On the first day of its release in 25 markets including China, Australia and many other countries in the Europe, the movie raked in a whooping $169 million. AFP has reported that Endgame has bagged single day box office records in China, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries.

Avengers: Endgame flashes on the screens as the last and 22^nd superhero film by Marvel. We can say it is a sort of direct follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War. In Endgame, the super heroes of Marvel come to terms with the defeat they faced in Infinity War and gear up for a much bigger and strenuous war against Thanos, the all-time mega-villain.

Avengers: Endgame reviews started pouring in over the past few days. In his review, the famed film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote, "For fans of the most successful franchise in movie history, Avengers: Endgame delivers the world - and more. Endgame is a neatly orchestrated, smartly packaged and powerfully rendered culmination to a series that has a committed fan base among those that have grown up on it." While rating the film, Saibal Chatterjee gives four out of five stars for the Endgame.
