Google has released its most popular searches in the UK in 2016, including the recipes that got the most interest.

The recipes involve everything from baking to distilling, and even smoking, showing that Brits are fairly adventurous when it comes to cooking.
One of the recipes included was been made famous on television. Jaffa cakes, which came in third place and were the most searched-for dessert, became popular after they were featured on the BBC's "The Great British Bake Off" as a technical challenge in August.
