Boeing 787-900 will be introduced in Delhi-London route of British Airways

Starting October 25, in flight experience from Delhi to London would be of a much comfort and elegance. Thanks to British Airways planning to bring into operation a Boeing 787-900 for the said sector.This would also be the first time, Boeing 787-900 would be introduced in India, reports The Economic Times.
The second operator to launch operations through Boeing 787-900 is likely to be Air Canada, which will start operations in November.
"The new aircraft will have 216 seats and an exclusive first class cabin for our passengers. India is the second largest markfor us after the US and the Delhi-London route becomes the first route to see the launch of Boeing 787-900 in our global network," Moran Birger, regional commercial manager- south Asia, British Airways told ET.
The airline has also announced a 50% discount on economy class tickets for travel period starting October 25, 2015 till December 31, 2015. Discounts tickets for the travel can be booked between July 14, 2015 and July 16, 2015, the ET report says.
