Copper futures gain on spot demand

New Delhi, Feb 17 () Copper prices on Monday traded up 0.47 per cent at Rs 436 per kg in futures market on the back of pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in February traded higher by Rs 2.05 or 0.47 per cent, at Rs 436 per kg in a business turnover of 2,546 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in March edged up by Rs 2.15, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 439 per kg in 139 lots.
