Cottonseed oil cake futures decline 4 pc on subdued demand

New Delhi, Mar 9 () Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell Rs 75 to Rs 1,803 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets tracking a weak trend in spot market.

Market players said sell-off by participants at existing levels amid subdued trend in market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake to be delivered in March fell by Rs 75, or 3.99 per cent, to Rs 1,803 per quintal with an open interest of 34,660 lots.

Cottonseed oil cake for delivery in April fell by similar margins to Rs 1,813 per quintal in 57,220 lots. VHP RUJRUJ
