Cottonseed oil cake futures ease on soft demand

New Delhi, Feb 20 () Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday fell by Rs 41 to Rs 1,659 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets amid a weak trend at the spot market.

Market players said sell-off by participants at existing levels amid subdued trend in market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake to be delivered in February fell by Rs 41, or 2.41 per cent, to Rs 1,659 per quintal with an open interest of 8,710 lots.

Cottonseed oil cake for delivery in March went down by Rs 19, or 1.12 per cent, to Rs 1,671 per quintal in 90,170 lots. VHP SHWSHW
