Ready Assist to offer free services to emergency vehicles during lockdown

Hyderabad, Apr 15 ()Ready Assist, a Bengaluru-basedroadside assistance provider, has come forward to offer freebreakdown service to doctors, police personnel and otheremergency vehicles by assisting them with technical supportand repairing vehicles during lockdown period, the companysaid on Wednesday.

The initiative is launched in Hyderabad, Bangalore,Mangalore, Mysore, and Vijayawada, under which the support canbe availed round-the-clock by contacting its toll-free number,it said.

Founderand CEO ofReadyAssist, VimalSinghsaid, "Beingan expert in handling breakdowns on road, it is ourresponsibility to help our nation by ensuring that theseemergency services move ahead without getting stranded."

According to him, the firm was able to successfullymobilise 960 breakdowns in the last few days of lockdown.

These vehicles are used by either medical professionals,essential goods delivery executives, food delivery partners orother individuals commuting for medical and other emergencies.

Besides, Vimal Singh has decided to take 100 per cent paycut till the situation arising out of the pandemic improves,while top executives of the firm havevolunteered to take 50per cent cut in their salary, the release added. GDKROH ROH
