Digital technologies like data, analytics and machine learning are taking centre stage as automation leads the job market.

According to the report, “The future of women at work: Transitions in the age of automation” by McKinsey Global Institute, automation may cost India a major transition in jobs over the next 10 years.

Yet, that does not mean all is lost, as a large number of cutting-edge software jobs are up for grabs. A recent survey done by Analytics Vidhya and ed-tech platform Great Learnings reveals that India has 50,000 vacancies in data and analytics.

Position: Social Media Monitoring & Analytics

Accenture is hiring an analytics professional in Gurgaon for its social media monitoring team. The candidate will look after the analytics vertical of social media by generating insights via analytical tools and techniques.

He will be required to analyze social media activities, including opportunity analysis and initiatives definition, roadmap formulation and vendor selection, social intelligence technologies, business intelligence, and service set-up and management.

The selected candidate will be responsible for reporting applications such as brandwatch, social studio, synthesis. He will also work on data mining and analysis.

Position: Advanced Analytics

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in software and technology

Gartner is inviting applications for a data analyst who will connect, maintain and analyze data used by the digital marketing teams. He will be responsible for managing the processes of data acquisition, data on-boarding, data tracking and reporting in Microsoft Power BI. He will be responsible for creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
