These are the job roles available
Eligibility criteria —
1. For Blood Cell programme —
At least six months laboratory work experience in the testing of blood or its component with a degree in medical laboratory technology (MLT) from a recognised university/institute.
Or
At least one year of laboratory experience in the testing of blood or its component with a diploma in MLT from a recognised university/institute.
2. Community process programme —
Intermediate (10+2) with diploma or certified course in MLT or equivalent.
3. NCD programme —
At least two years of working in a big hospital with a degree in medical laboratory technology (MLT) or a diploma in MLT from a recognised university/institute.
4.National programme —
One year experience in National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) or Sputum smear microscopy with diploma or certified course in MLT.
Or
3 years of work experience in Tuberculosis bacteriology with Master of science (M.Sc) in microbiology/applied microbiology/general microbiology/biotechnology/biochemistry.
Or
5 years of work experience in Tuberculosis bacteriology with bachelor of science (B.Sc) in microbiology/applied microbiology/general microbiology/biotechnology/biochemistry.
5. NUHM programme —
Certified diploma in MLT from any recognised university/institute.
6.National Programme (STS and STLS) —
Bachelor’s degree or recognised sanitary inspector’s course with two month certificate course in computer. Candidates should know how to drive a two-wheeler.
At least one year experience in NTEP with a graduate or diploma degree in MLT from any recognised university/institute.
Selection procedure
The selection process consists of two steps — computer based test and document verification.
The computer based Test will be held for a duration of 2 hours consisting of two sections of total 100 marks. Section-I (80 Marks) will consist of professional knowledge (discipline/domain related) and section-II (20 Marks) will consist of general aptitude, reasoning, general awareness and basic computer knowledge with 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ).
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the next round i.e., document verification.
