Cowboys players had a meeting with Jerry Jones that they wouldn't discuss, but one comment may hint at the result

Jones insisted on Sunday that players would stand for the anthem, and doubled down in an interview on Monday, pointing to a league manual that says players "should" stand.
According to several reports, players did not discuss what happened in the meeting, with most declining to comment.
However, when cornerback Orlando Scandrick was asked about Breast Cancer Awareness Month, his answer may have hinted at how the meeting with Jones went down.
Likewise, Scandrick's choice of music may have hinted at the outcome of the meeting.
Jones is a supporter of President Donald Trump, who has been a vocal critic of the national anthem protests. At a rally in September, Trump said NFL owners should "fire" any "son of a b----" who kneels during the anthem.
Following widespread protests in the wake of Trump's comments, Jones and the Cowboys knelt before the anthem but then stood during it. Later, Trump said he spoke to Jones and that Jones told him the Cowboys would stand for the anthem going forward.
The national anthem protests appear to be coming to a head, with the NFL telling teams they have a proposal to move past the protests and begin focusing on highlighting players' work on social issues. The NFL is expected to propose the plan to owners during a meeting next week.
On Wednesday, Trump praised the NFL for demanding players stand, which the NFL later fact-checked.
In the meantime, if Scandrick's comment is any indication, it doesn't sound like the Cowboys convinced Jones to let them kneel during the anthem.
Orlando Scandrick pulled out some pink cleats to support breast cancer awareness. "We're *allowed* to support that," Scandrick said.
