Claims are still hovering around the lowest levels since 1973, and are one of the key indicators that show that labor market remains robust.
This is the last piece of labor-market data we'll get ahead of the jobs report on Friday. Economists forecast that nonfarm payrolls grew by 200,000 in April.
We'll have the latest claims data at the bottom of the hour, so refresh this story for updates.
