COVID-19: K'taka's road transport corporations donate one-day pay of staffers to CM relief fund

Bengaluru, May 13 () Officials and employees of allthe four road transport corporations in Karnataka havecontributed their one day salary amounting to Rs 9.85 crore tothe Chief Minister's COVID-19 relief fund.

Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi, who also holds thetransport portfolio, handed over the cheque to Chief MinisterB S Yediyurappa on Wednesday, an official statement said.

State's bus services are operated by Karnataka State RoadTransport Corporation (KSRTC), Bangalore MetropolitanTransport Corporation (BMTC), North West Karnataka RoadTransport Corporation (NWKRTC) and North East Road TransportCorporation (NERTC).
