Indians are waiting to watch the human side of Modi, not just his wild side
  • Modi has already captured the nation a few months back when he won over 300 seat mandate in the national elections.
  • But brand experts will believe that he will now be able to younger Indians, as he displays his adventurous side.
  • Narendra is among the most influential political leaders around the world.
  • He is also the third most followed politician on Twitter. BJP and Narendra Modi have around 61 million followers on Twitter.

Tonight we will discover a new-before seen Avatar of Indian Prime Minister. He will be wearing a green coloured jersey and try to survive in the wild amidst tigers at Jim Corbett National Park, for the show--Man Vs Wild.

And, there are many expectations from his international television show debut. "Modi is a creative story teller who has taken an interesting move by featuring in Man vs Wild. He has reached millions of people but still has a far way to go. The show will bring a positive change in his image as a strong political leader of a democracy," Anshul Sushil, co-founder Wizikey told Business Insider India.

Modi has already captured the nation a few months back when he won over 300 seat mandate in the national elections. But brand experts will believe that he will now be able to younger Indians, as he displays his adventurous side.

"Millenials are going to connect to him through the show. The way brand Modi has evolved he wants to control the narrative. At the same time, he also wants to give other people the scope of visibility," said Sushil.

And looks they are looking forward to the show. #PMModiOnDiscovery alone received a whopping 1.2 billion impressions, said Discovery. (Link to Exchange). Over 206200 people mentioned the hashtag within 12 hours after the trailer launched. The hashtag also entered the top 3 global trends.

However, Harish Bijoor, a brand expert believes that a brand cannot be built on a single impression. “It is built through many impressions from many mediums. The show may not have a greater impact on brand Modi,” said Bijoor who runs his own brand consultancy firm.

Yet, Modi is known to experiment his image with interesting interviews. One of the most buzzing interviews he gave before the Lok Sabha elections was to Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar. One of the many questions that Kumar asked in the eulogistic interview was, “What variety of Mangoes do you like?”

During election, BJP introduced a "NaMO" television channel and an app that, according to the party, had over 100 million downloads. The party did not just try to reach people using social media but they also said their physical campaigns in the Lok Sabha Election reached 250,000 people in a day, reported Reuters.

Narendra is also the third most followed politician on Twitter. BJP and Narendra Modi have around 61 million followers on Twitter.
