BTIG, an international trading firm, hosted its 15th annual Commissions for Charity Day last week. The company raised more than $5 million to be donated to charities around the world.

"We are thrilled with the record number of celebrity guest traders who volunteered to join us, and humbled by the impressive number of nominated charities, which will benefit from the day," Co-founder of BTIG Seven Starker said in a press release.

The firm anticipates more than 300 non-profit organizations will benefit from the 2018 event, where participating celebrities acted as an ambassador for a charity of their choice. The company hosted more than 80 celebrities, politicians, athletes, journalists and business leaders to act as guest traders. Eli Manning, President Bill Clinton, and Lucy Liu were just three of the many high-profile guests that participated.
